Jack Hooker has been working with horses for almost his entire life. He started out in the rodeo riding broncs, through the years he graduated into the outfitting business which he and his wife Karen have done for over 40 years. In 1996 he built his own indoor riding arena. He raises and trains horses in the winter months but soon will be able to devote his time year round to the horses he loves. He and Karen are planning on a new Wilderness Horse Camp into the Bob Marshall where interested guests can learn country horsemanship on all levels of foundational horsemanship which will cover how to more effectively navigate back-country terrain and how to take care of yourself and your horse in different situations.Come look at some of their pictures and find out why they love Montana!
